The Tricon Communication Module (TCM) is only compatible with Tricon v10.0 and higher systems, allowing Tricon to communicate 

with TriStation, other Tricon or Trident controllers,

Modbus master and slave devices, as well as external hosts on Ethernet.

Each TCM contains four serial ports, two network ports, and one debug port (for use by Triconex). Each serial port has a unique address 

and can be configured as a Modbus master or slave. Serial port # 1 supports Modbus or Trimble GPS interfaces. Serial port # 4 supports 

Modbus or TriStation interfaces.
