Variable speed motor driver

Adjustable speed motor drives are used to control the speed of machinery and are used in many industrial applications, including assembly lines. Generally, there are several preset speed ranges that can be selected in the design, and they have four basic types:

Machinery
Mechanically adjustable motor drives allow adjustment of the pitch diameter on one or two pulleys. Traction drive (a mechanical drive) uses metal rollers to transmit power, and its speed can be adjusted by changing the position of the rollers to change the contact diameter between them. Electromechanical
These drives are mechanically adjusted or automatically controlled and contain both mechanical and electrical components, making them useful hybrid devices.

Hydraulic type
There are three main types of hydraulic drivers, which rely on hydraulic pumps and motors or oil to transfer torque. Drive through the control of fluid and control valve flow, while adjusting the speed of the fluid power drive (also known as hydraulic coupling) from the rotor impeller or the use of oil to transfer torque.
