The ICS Triplex T8831 is a triple-redundant, high-availability Field Termination Assembly (FTA) for analogue input signals.  It is designed for use in critical applications where downtime cannot be tolerated and where reliable data acquisition is essential.

The T8831 has three independent input channels, each with its own signal conditioning circuitry.  This redundancy ensures that the FTA will remain operational even if one of the channels fails.  The T8831 also supports a number of other features to ensure reliable and accurate data acquisition, such as:
Isolation between channels to prevent crosstalk
Programmable input ranges to accommodate a variety of signal types
Fault detection and reporting
