DESCRIPTION
GE Speedtronic Mark IV DS3800HVDB I/O Circuit Board on the Gas Turbine Control System. The GE Video Driver Board DS3800HVDB is designed to fit into the drive quickly. On one end, the board has a modular connector, while on the other, it has retention levers. Between the retention levers on the GE Video Driver Board DS3800HVDB, there is also a 20-pin connector. Multiple erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) modules and 15 jumpers are also included on the board.
The GE Video Driver Board DS3800HVDB has a 20-pin connector that allows an operator to add a ribbon cable once the board is put in a drive. The ribbon wire is less likely to be strained if it is connected after the board has been placed.
The small wires in each of the 20 strands can pull out under stress. The signal connection would be lost as a result of this. If the ribbon cable is connected before the board is installed, you risk damaging the connections by mistakenly tugging on it.
Retention latches are included on the 20-pin connector. The connector is held in place by the retention latches, which swing over it and prevent it from being removed.
