The SST-PFB-PLC5 module is a ProfiBus co-processor module intended for use with PLC5 components by / Automation. 

The module is manufactured and designed by SST and it serves as a communication module on the ProfiBus DP network. 

The unit has an RS-232 port for configuration and a ProfiBus port.

 Also, the module comes with LED indicators for status updates and metal housing that can endure rough operating conditions.
