The GuardLogix controllers like the 1756-L71S controller come with both the standard ControlLogix controller features and additional safety features. The 1756-L71S GuardLogix controller supports both standard and safety communication through the ControlNet, DeviceNet, and EtherNet/IP industrial networks. This controller can work with safety partner modules like the 1756-L7SP and 1756-L7SPK modules. The 1756-L71S GuardLogix controller?s memory includes 0.98 MB of I/O memory, 1 MB of safety memory, and 2 MB of user memory.
