Product Overview

The 1746-HSTP1 is a single-axis Stepper Control Module of the SLC 500 product family that is compatible with any SLC 500 processor.  This module is a motion control module which can be configured through the SLC backplane to program motion in either direction for over 8 million counts of absolute position. An incremental encoder can also be used with the module if desired to verify the position that is reached by the axis. The 1746-HSTP1 has three operation modes: configuration, command, and diagnostic.
