Chinese Valentine`s Day
--Double Seven`s Festival
The Double Seven`s Festival takes the folklore of Cowherd and Weaver Girl as its carrier, expressing the emotion of "never abandoning and growing old together" between married men and women, and abiding by the promise of love between the two sides. With the development of time, Qixi has become Chinese Valentine's Day.
Qixi Festival, also known as Qiqiao Festival, Qiqiao Festival or Qijie Birthday, originated in China, is a traditional festival in Chinese areas and East Asian countries. The Festival is celebrated on the seventh day of the seventh day of the seventh day of the seventh lunar month (after the Meiji Restoration, Japan changed to the seventh day of the seventh day of the seventh lunar calendar). Because the main participants of this day's activities are girls, and the content of the festival activities is mainly to beg Qiao, so people call this day "Qiaoqiao Festival" or "Girl's Day" or "Daughter's Day". On May 20, 2006, Qixi was listed in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list by the State Council of China.
