Mitsubishi Electric Develops High-Precision Circuit
Simulation Technology For This Silicon Carbide MOSFET
Recently, at the 2020 PCIM Europe exhibition held online, Mitsubishi Electric announced the development of a highly accurate integrated circuit general simulation program (SPICE) model to analyze the electronic circuits of discrete semiconductors/power devices.
Mitsubishi said that the high-speed switching waveform simulated by the model is almost the same as the actual measurement result. This accuracy is currently unmatched by other technologies in the industry, and it is expected to bring more efficient circuit design to the power converter.
At the same time, Mitsubishi Electric also plans to continue to add several temperature-related parameters to it, so that the SPICE model can also operate normally at high temperatures.
