At the same time, the home policy has stimulated the demand for entertainment such as personal computers and game consoles, and the purchase of consumer electronics semiconductors has increased, resulting in the inclination of semiconductor production capacity to consumer electronics products in the first half of 2020. After the significant recovery of automobile and other optional consumer demand in the second half of 2020, the chip inventory of relevant manufacturers decreased rapidly, and it was difficult to quickly redistribute semiconductor production capacity, resulting in structural short supply.

The current round of semiconductor price rise is that under the background of the recovery of the epidemic, some application categories are filled with OEM capacity by innovation and recovery demand, so that other application categories can not get new capacity and transmit the price rise trend. In order to compete for supply, electronic manufacturing enterprises continue to increase stock, which also leads to tight supply and transmission to other electronic components.The production capacity of the world's major foundry wafers continues to be tight, and the price rise trend has not been alleviated.
