A Traditional Folk Activity in Xiamen

Mid-Autumn Festival is coming soon.To celebrate this special Festival.There is a tradtional folk activity in xiamen--"bobing" every year.Our company will start this acitivity on next Friday.

"bobing", originated from Tongan County, Quanzhou Prefecture, Fujian Province (now Xiamen, Fujian Province), was invented by Zheng Chenggong and is a traditional folk activity unique to the cake culture in southern Anhui. The "bobing" is a mass entertainment activity during the Mid-Autumn Festival, with a combination of six dice throwing results to determine the prizes of the participants. The traditional prizes are moon cakes of different sizes, for a total of one, with one champion, two for the church, three for the red, four for the eight, six for the second, and one for the show. According to legend, this game can predict people's luck in the coming year.

In southern Anhui, Mid-Autumn gambling has also become a commercial activity and mass game. Fujian People's Publishing House published in 1985, "Fujian Winds" records: in the area of southern Anhui, the Mid-Autumn Festival has the custom of "winning the cake". In some urban and rural areas in central and eastern Taiwan and in Jinmen County, Taiwan, the custom of Mid-Autumn Festival is still popular. In Kinmen, the Golden Town Wusong Community Development Association celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival Gala, which has a Bob Cake Festival.
